These drones are ushering in a new world of possibilities when it comes to photographing surfing and other action sports, and professional photographers are using them in Costa Rica too, such as Marcello Marongiu of M2 Photos (www.facebook.com/m2photoscr), who uses an aerial drone usually for photographing real estate, hotels, and other buildings, which is much cheaper than hiring a helicopter or private plane.

A small aerial drone allows for never scene before camera angles and movement, at a much more affordable price than renting a helicopter and pilot.

Expect to see much more of this in the future!
